By Oscar Wilde
Directed by Christopher Diehl

Chino Community Theatre kicks off its 34th season with, quite simply, the wittiest comedy ever written!

Oscar Wilde’s masterpiece tells the story of two bachelors, Jack and Algernon, who create alter egos named Ernest to escape their mundane lives. Complications ensue when they attempt to win the hearts of two young ladies and become tangled in a farcical tale
of deception, disguise and misadventure. Featuring some of the best loved characters ever to grace the stage (Lady Bracknell is one of Wilde’s greatest creations) and one delightfully absurd plot twist after another (you’ll never look at a handbag the same
way again), The Importance of Being Earnest has been making audiences “LOL” for well over a century!

Featuring Mike Hanrahan, Eliot Tyler Knight, Emma Kuhn, Susan O’Connell, Grace O’Neill, Rafael Ortega, Phil Parker, Bradford Reed and Jill Wanderman.
