Haunted Old Town is now recruiting High School volunteers.  Students can earn their community service hours while prowling around this fun and safe environment.  Students should just show up for the auditions 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday Sept 20.

Corona Civic Light Opera Association (CCLOA) is holding auditions for their Christmas show Mr. Scrooge’s Christmas, an adapation of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol by Thomas Hischak.  Auditions will be held September 9 from 7pm to 10pm and September 13 from 9am to 1pm at the First Congregational Church located at 801 S. Riverside Community Players will hold auditions for their family series show, The Fabulous Fable Factory, by Joseph Robinette and directed by Jennifer Young Lawson.  The show will run October 3 - 5, 2008.

This is a delightful story of an inquisitive youth who wanders into a seemingly abandoned factory, owned by a Mr. Aesop. The youngster accidentally trips a lever, which activates the factory “machinery,” an assembly line of fable-makers who create, then enact Aesop’s fabulous fables.
