Please come prepared with a comedic monologue. We will also be doing cold readings from the script.

Some witty repartee and some spirited characters won the Broadway critics to this English comedy, following its London run. Mother is doing a bit of matchmaking for her daughter before her debut. Father wishes they’d both forget the whole thing and save him the thousands of pounds. But Mother is one tracked on the point; and besides, she has to do a better job of matchmaking for her daughter than her friend does for hers. A knock kneed aristocrat flops all over himself proposing to the girl, but she has her heart set on a dashing man about town; so much so that even Father gets worried. But things turn out nicely when the dashing one comes into his own titled inheritance. (Special thanks to Samuel French)

Fine Arts Network announces the cast of its upcoming production of 13, a new musical comedy about coming of age, teen traumas and middle school survival. Running January 6 through the 16 at The Old Town Temecula Theatre in Temecula, California. Music and lyrics for 13 are written by Jason Robert Brown who won the Tony Award for Best Original Score for Parade, composed for the Tony Award nominated Urban Cowboy, and wrote the off-Broadway hit The Last Five Years. The book is provided by novelist and songwriter Dan Elish, whose books for young adults have earned him numerous literary honors.

With a blast of high voltage energy, an all-teen cast navigates the ups and downs of turning 13. Fresh from New York City, the new kid in town is desperate to fit in, survive middle school and get all the “cool kids” to attend his impending bar mitzvah. Every day he faces a new teen trauma: cell phones and rumors, first dates and first kisses, cliques, clashes and crushes. Featuring a brightly infectious score with songs like “Being a Geek”, “Brand New You”, and “What It Means To Be A Friend”. Fresh, funny, and touching, it’s a rites of passage story that all ages can relate to. (Read on …)

grandmother’s basement, is New Jersey’s favorite wedding singer. He’s the
life of the party until his fiancé, Linda, leaves him at the altar. Shot
through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own.

and unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of
his dreams will be gone forever. With a score that pays loving homage to
the pop songs of the 1980s, The Wedding Singer takes us back to a time
