Redlands Footlighters opens its 65th season with And Then There Were None, the classic Agatha Christie murder mystery directed by Mark Allen-Everett.
The excitement never lets up in this superlative mystery by the “Queen of Crime”. Eight guests who have never met each other or their absent hosts are lured and marooned, along with two house servants, in a house on an island off the coast of Devon. A nursery rhyme, hung over the mantel, tells how each of ten “soldiers” met his death until there were none. Each guest is accused by a mysterious voice of having gotten away with murder and then one drops dead – poisoned. One down and nine to go! As statuettes of little soldier boys fall and break one by one, those in the house succumb to a diabolical avenger.
