Act One Theater Arts announces auditions for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a hilarious tale chronicling the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. The show’s Tony Award winning creative team has created this hit musical about the unlikeliest of heroes: a quirky yet charming cast of outsiders for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time.

Auditioners must be 16 years of age or older to participate.  Auditions are Friday, August 27th from 4:30 – 8 pm, with callbacks Saturday August 28th from 9 am – 5 pm.  Please email sharon@act1theaterarts.com for an appointment time.  Leave a message with the two-hour window you are available.  Your audition time slot will be emailed to you.
