Performance Riverside is auditioning singers to be in our on-stage “GO” chorus for our upcoming production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat August 14, 9:00am, at Landis Performing Arts Center.

On September 17th, Performance Riverside will open its 2010-2011 season with a production of the popular and beloved Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and we need your help to make this yet another PR smash hit! To complete the cast we will need approximately 100 “GO” Chorus members to include children, youth and adults.  Must be 8 years of age or older. Participation will involve singing and some hand motions. We are very fortunate to have two wonderfully creative people at the helm: director and choreographer, John Vaughn, and nusical director, David Lamoureux.

Rehearsals to be held at Landis Performing Arts Center on the RCC campus.

• Wednesdays—beginning August 18th—6:30pm–8:00pm

Note: At the first rehearsal on Aug 14 you will be asked for the correct spelling of your name, your tee shirt size, and to fill out a volunteer form.

“GO” Chorus Costume requirements:

• White slacks, skirts, or capri pants
• “GO” Colored Tee Shirt- cost–$15.   Performance Riverside will order them
• Note: Please arrive at the theatre in costume and make-up

Parking for rehearsals:

When possible drop off or car pool. Parking passes will be provided when necessary.  This is a great opportunity for members of existing community choral groups, church and school choirs, and other performing organizations that involve singing to work with the most successful professional production company in the region.  It is also a great chance to join with other musical performance lovers in our community as an active participant in a wonderful, family oriented and exciting production, and to have a blast doing it!
