Late Night Leftovers Needs Actors!

Late Night Leftovers is looking for an African American male (20-35 years old) to be a regular cast member in our sketch comedy show! We are looking for someone to start working in shows by late October and they must have:

  • Strong Comedic Timing and Improv Background
  • Musicality and Be Able to Move 

Small stipends may be provided after each show.

Auditions for Chino Community Theatre’s holiday production of Heavens to Benjamin, an original musical by Howard and Pamela Wilson and directed by Paul Larson, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 10 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 11 at Seventh Street Theatre, 13123 Seventh St. in Chino.

The show will run Dec. 4-19.  Be prepared to sing and read from the script. All ages are welcome.  Information: 590-1149.

Yucaipa Little Theatre is well-known for tackling big shows with professionalism and talent, and their upcoming production of Stephen Sondheim’s acclaimed musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is no exception. Opening night is Thursday, October 8, and is expected to sell out.

The show will run three weekends, starting Thursday, October 8 until October 25. Evening performances are at 7:30 pm on October 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23 and 24. Matinee shows are at 3:30 pm on October 11, 18 and 25. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for senior, students, and children. Family tickets are $25, and groups of eight or more may purchase tickets for $6 each. Actors needed ASAP for Be My Baby, a comedy by Ken Ludwig, directed by Jeremy Magouirk, running Nov. 6-22 at Riverside Community Players (RCP).

Needed:

  • A woman, age 20-30 for a supporting role
  • One man 20-30 for a supporting role
  • A man, 50-65 (Scottish dialect required) for a leading role
  • One man any age for ensemble (multiple roles)
