From the man who gave us Guys and Dolls comes a tender and powerfully personal love story about a middle-aged vintner, Tony Esposito, whose mail-order marriage proposal is accepted under the girl’s mistaken assumption that a photo of Tony’s young, handsome foreman is her intended husband.

A grand Broadway hit, The Most Happy Fella is full of soaring romantic melodies and catchy show-stoppers, including the favorite “Standing on the Corner.”

IVRT founder Frank Minano will reprise his ITL award-wining role of Tony Esposito, along with Laura Lindahl as Rosabella and a cast of 50 featuring members of the Mountainside Master Chorale.  The show is directed by Terre Gunkel, with music direction by Dave Osborn and choreography by DawnEllen Ferry.

Songs include BIG D, JOEY, SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE and STANDING ON THE CORNER WATCHIN ALL THE GIRLS BY.  This is the broadway classic musical that was featured on an episode of I LOVE LUCY when Lucy and Ethel share one seat to see a broadway musical.
