Rialto Community Players continues its summer season with Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks by Richard Alfieri. This funny and touching comedy is directed by Jeff Richards and runs for two weekends from June 19 -28. Show times are June 19, 20, 26 & 27 at 8 pm, and June 21 & 28 at 2 pm. Tickets are only $8 for general non-reserved seating.
Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks concerns a formidable older woman who hires an acerbic dance instructor to give her dance lessons. Antagonism gives way to a profound compatibility as they swing dance, tango, fox trot, cha-cha, and twist while sharing secrets, joys and fears. ITL-winning actors Deborah W. McFatter and Christopher Diehl take the roles that were originated by Uta Hagen and David Hyde Pierce in 2001.
