For one night only, Scooter Thomas Makes it to the Top of the World, by Peter Parnell, returns to Seventh Street Theatre.

The performance at 8 p.m. today (Saturday) is fundraiser dedicated to sending the multi-award wining show to participate in the American Association of Community Theatres Festival in Tacoma, June 22-27.

Chino Community Theatre will be showcased among the 12 best in the nation. Directed by Melodie Henderson-Magouirk and starring Jeremy Magouirk and Chad Granier, the show exposes defining moments between two boys who grew up together, and then apart. Cutting class, bets about girls, first times and last times illustrate this seriously-funny theme of looking back and wondering what you would change if you could.

Ticket cost is $10 per person, no reservations necessary.

Rated PG-13 for strong language. A desert reception will follow.
