To further promote an interest in young aspiring theater goers, the Candlelight Pavilion is offering a Summer Children’s Workshop for children. This is a workshop taught by professionals and those behind the scenes at the Candlelight Pavilion, created for kids who have never performed or who have had limited performance experience. Participants will learn about costumes, scenery, stage make-up, acting, auditioning and more. At the end of the workshop, students will put their new skills to work by participating in the Friday evening performance of Disney’s High School Musical on Stage. For age ranges 7-12, a workshop will be held June 15-19. For age ranges 13-17, a workshop will be held June 22-26.
The Bollinger family of the Candlelight Pavilion is also pleased to announce it’s collaboration with the non-profit organization Shoes That Fit who provide new, athletic shoes for school-aged children in need. The national headquarters located right here in Claremont coordinates hundreds of schools across the U.S. providing for over 1,200 elementary schools in 35 states.
