The Broadway musical, Camelot, is the timeless story of King Arthur of England, Queen Guenevere, Sir Lancelot, and the knights of the round table. This much-loved classic is coming to Yucaipa Little Theatre beginning Thursday, May 28, 2009 for a three-weekend run.
A favorite of the late President John F. Kennedy, Camelot has long been an indisputable stage hit. Yucaipa Little Theatre first presented Camelot nearly a decade ago. According to the director, Ken Corona, “There has been a lot of interest from members and supporters to see it again, and we’re excited to have this opportunity to finally bring it back.”
As this highly talented cast presents Lerner and Loewe’s musical masterpiece, the stage comes alive with such memorable songs as “Camelot,” “Before I Gaze At You Again,” “If Ever I Would Leave You,” “I Loved You Once In Silence,” and many others.
The show will run three weekends from May 28 to June 14, 2009. Evening performances are at 7:30 p.m. on May 28, 29, and 30 and June 5, 6, 12, and 13. Matinee performances are at 3:30 p.m. on May 31, June 7, and June 14.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for senior, students, and children. Family tickets are $25, and groups of eight or more may purchase tickets for $6 each. For reservations, call (909) 790-1884.
