The Grove Theatre announces the opening of On Golden Pond, on Friday, January 9th, at 7:29 pm. The production runs two weekends through January 18th.

On Golden Pond is a play by Ernest Thompson. The plot focuses on aging couple Ethel and Norman Thayer, who spend each summer at their home on a lake called Golden Pond. During the time the story takes place, they are visited by their daughter with her fiancé and his son in tow. The play explores the often turbulent relationship the young woman shared with her father growing up, and the difficulties faced by a couple in the twilight years of a long marriage. Starring Ann Thomas as Ethel Thayer and Duane Thomas as Norman Thayer, this is a show to be enjoyed!
