LifeHouse Theater is pleased to announce a special encore engagement of the acclaimed one-man drama Damien, based on the true story of a priest’s courageous ministry to lepers.  This powerful dramatic experience will be presented the evening of Sunday, November 2 at 7:30 PM.  All seats are $10.00.

A modern stage classic performed around the world, Aldyth Morris’ Damien features Ken Wright as the heroic nineteenth-century Belgian priest who voluntarily lived among the lepers of society.  Wright portrays what period newspapers called “the one clean man among a flock of almost a thousand lepers.”  His performance traces the trials of Father Damien’s ministry during sixteen years of outreach — a calling that ended only when the priest died after contracting leprosy himself.

“We are thrilled to re-present this story on our stage,” comments LifeHouse president Wayne Scott.  “After a sold out performance in March, audience demand for a return engagement was overwhelming.  We are honored that our guests have embraced this story of Damien’s heroic and selfless efforts which stirred the entire world and hastened the control of leprosy.  His life is an inspiration.”

Damien is directed by veteran actress and composer Debra Brooks.

Reservations for Damien are encouraged as the performance will likely sell out.  For information and reservations, call (909) 335-3037.  LifeHouse Theater is located at 1135 N. Church St. in Redlands, next to the Redlands Christian School.  Free parking is available in back of the theater.  More information can be found by visiting the website at www.lifehousetheater.com.
