A Streetcar Named Desire, the rarely performed Tennessee Williams classic, will run at Chino Community Theatre at 8 p.m. Sept. 19, 20, 26, 27, Oct. 3, 4, 10, 11 and at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 28 and Oct. 5.

Tickets are $15 general admission and $12 for students and seniors over 55.  CCT Box Office: 590-1149.

Directed by Toni Lynd, the play illustrates a chapter in the lives of Stanley and Stella Kowalski and Blanche DuBois, a fading Southern Belle whose grip on sanity is chipped away by her animalistic brother-in-law.

Owen’s Bistro, located across from the theatre at 5210 D St., offers a dinner and a show package. Dine at Owen’s before the show and take the receipt to the box office for a $3 discount on each adult ticket, per entrée purchased. Reservations are recommended, allow at least one hour before showtime for dinner. Owens: 628-0452.
