The Performance Loft, in partnership with the Redlands Regional Players, present a wartime renaissance featuring adaptations of Aristophanes’ [Liz]istrata and The Clouds, performed in repertory, and accompanied by live music and visual arts.

Auditions for [Liz]istrata will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at the Performance Loft, located at the Mitten Building, 345 5th St., in Redlands.

The play follows a group of women who boycott sex from their husbands in order to stop the wars that plague their world. While “The Clouds” focuses more on the intellectual revolution that is provoked by war.  Performances for [Liz]istrata are Oct. 15 and 21, and The Clouds will be performed Oct. 14 and 22.
