The Rancho Cucamonga Community Theatre is proud to present their summer family musical spectacular, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, playing July 18-27, 2008 at the Lewis Family Playhouse located in the beautiful Victoria Gardens Cultural Center.
The talented creative team is headed by one of the Inland Empire’s most sought after musical theatre directors and performers, John LaLonde. Mr. LaLonde is a four time Inland Theatre League award winner for 2007 and has innumerable past awards to his credit. Joining him will be David Lamoureaux as Musical Director and Orlando Alexander as Choreographer. The impressive cast of 70 includes Jonathan Hawkins as Joseph, Amanda Knight as the Narrator, and Michael Naffziger as the Pharaoh.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, composed by Andrew Lloyd Weber with lyrics by Tim Rice, has become a family classic not to be missed. This colorful retelling of the biblical story about Joseph, his uncanny abilities and his designer coat sings out to young and old alike with a score which is wall to wall hits - including “Close Every Door” and “Any Dream Will Do.”
