Chino Community Theatre will hold auditions for A Streetcar Named Desire from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, and from 7:30 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, at Seventh Street Theatre, 13123 Seventh Street in Chino.
Directed by Toni Lynd, Tennessee Williams’ remarkable 1947 masterpiece remains just as powerful and shocking today, which may explain why it is rarely done by community theaters. CCT is proud to bring this classic story of Blanche DuBois and Stanley Kowalski (characters made immortal on film by Vivien Leigh and Marlon Brando) to our stage.
Cold reading will be required, sides will be available at the audition. Please be prepared to list any scheduling conflicts.
