Riverside Youth Theatre has two roles open for their production fo Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats.  Openings are available for 2 male teens 18 years or under.

The roles remaining to be cast are:

  • RUM TUM TUGGER is a tom cat and considered the ladies cat and the rebel of the group. He loves the limelight, while at the same he enjoys being seen as an individual. He may be self-obsessed, but he has great respect for those who deserve it. The younger female kittens are in awe of him. This role was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber as an homage to Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones. Need a strong singer and dancer for this role and a willingness to become like a rock star in the cat kingdom!
  • MR. MISTOFFELEES has his own song and extended dance solo in the second act of the show. Mistoffelees performs the most difficult choreography in the show and dancers cast in the role frequently have extensive ballet experience. This is a role for an strong dancer!

If you know any teens with strong vocal and dance skills, please have them contact Debbie Wolgemuth, Artistic Director at RiversideYouthTheatre@msn.com or (951) 756-4240 to schedule a personal audition.
