Talented singers in the Inland Empire are invited to vocal auditions for the dance/pop vocal group Msongs,  on April 12, 2008, from 3pm to 6 pm, at the UU Church parish hall, 3657 Lemon Street, downtown Riverside at the corner of Lemon and Mission Inn Avenue. The UU Church is the red stone building next to the Riverside Library.

What is Msongs vocal group? – We are creating a vocal trio with at least one male and one female voice.

What are we looking for in vocalists? – Age range 18-35. Recording quality voices, great tone, and excellent pitch (ability to sing all notes on key). Performing and dance experience helpful but not required. Style, attitude, pizazz, sparkle!

What to Sing at the audition – One dance/fast tempo track and one ballad/slow song. Both songs must be edited to 2 minutes or less. Bring a backing instrumental CD or a CD with 2 tracks to sing over. No songs longer than 2 minutes! Choose songs that show your vocal strengths and range. We are looking for voices that stay ON key. It would be good if you
could learn and do one or two of OUR songs from our website as well. You will have to sing two of OUR songs for us at some time if you pass the first part of this audition.

At the audition – You complete a brief form with your contact information.  You can give us a one page resume, a photo if you wish, and a demo CD.. Do not give us your only copies, they will not be returned.

When auditions have finished – We will review candidates and some vocalists may be offered a position.  We will contact you if we are interested in offering you a position.
