Auditions: God’s Man in Texas at Redlands Footlighters

Redlands Footlighters will hold auditions for God’s Man in Texas, a contemporary drama, on Monday and Tuesday, November 5 and 6, at 7:00pm at the theater 1810 Barton Road. Directed by Jeff Richards, the show will run January 10th through January 27th.
God’s Man in Texas is a work of fiction rooted in the politics of religion, power, ambition and scriptual truth. Casting three men:
- Dr. Gottschall, a lengendary TV minister, proud and loud. He is past retirement age but reluctant to give up the power.
- Dr. Mears, mid-30s to early 40s, a popular preacher who has been tapped to take over the reins.
- Hugo Taney, late 30s to mid 50s, a reformed wreak of a man, who works at the church.
