Auditions for To Kill a Mockingbird at RCCT

Rancho Cucamonga Community Theater will hold auditions for the courtroom scene of To Kill a Mockingbird, directed by Michael Naffziger, on October 4 at 5:30 p.m. and October 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center.
Performances are November 11, at 7:30 p.m., and November 12, at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., in conjunction with the Rancho Cucamonga Librarys’ “Big Read” program. Tickets for this event are free of charge.
Roles Available:
- Atticus Finch -an educated lawyer in his fifties (age range 30-60+ male)
- Miss Maudie -The neighbor & advisor to the children (age range 30-60+ female)
- Scout Finch - a perceptive pre-teen (age range 10-12+ female)
- Jem Finch - Scout’s older brother (age range 10-16+ male)
- Dill - Jem & Scout’s meddling friend (age range 10-12+ male)
- Bob Ewell - A cruel uneducated castaway (age range 30-60+ male)
- Heck Tate - The sheriff of Maycomb County (age range 40-60+ male)
- Judge Taylor - An aging, sleepy judge (age range 40-70+ male)
- Gilmer - Atticus’ opponent in the courtroom (age range 25-60+ male)
- Mayelle Ewell -Bob Ewell’s confused daughter (age range 18-30+ female)
- Tom Robinson - The honest victim of a dishonest society (age range 18-30+ male)
- Court Baliff - (age range 20-60+ male)
- Jurors-(age range 18-60+ male or female)
- Spectators-(age range 10-60+ male or female)
