Riverside Community Players will present Oz, a Family Series production, written by Patrick Shanahan (based on L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz), and directed by Jennifer Young Lawson.
Frank Baum is in trouble! It is 1899 in Chicago and Frank is putting the finishing touches on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, but putting dreams on paper is tricky business. He has no title, some serious plot problems and no actual ending. Like the cyclone in his story, Frank and his friends, Bridgey and Dot get swept up in his whirl wind tale. Using their imaginations, and ours, the trio find the missing ingredients to finish this beloved masterpiece.
