Guys and Dolls is considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy with its entertaining and vivacious characters: Sarah Brown, the upright but uptight “mission doll,” out to reform the evildoers of Times Square; Sky Masterson, the slick, high-rolling gambler who woos her on a bet and ends up falling in love; Adelaide, the chronically ill nightclub performer whose condition is brought on by the fact she’s been engaged to the same man for 14 years; and Nathan Detroit, her devoted fiancée, desperate as always to find a spot for his infamous floating craps game.

Beginning October 3, the Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theater will bring this beloved musical to the Inland Empire.

The successful 1955 film starred Frank Sinatra as Nathan Detroit and Marlon Brando as Sky Masterson. In the Candlelight Pavilion production Jeremy Bernard will star as the charming Sky Masterson, Jessica Nash as the beautiful Sarah Brown, Lisa Dyson will play the comical Adelaide, and Jamie Snyder will portray the scheming Nathan Detroit. Stage direction for Guys and Dolls is by John Vaughan and Doug Austin.

Famous songs from Guys and Dolls include “Luck Be A Lady,” “Adelaide’s Lament,” and the title song “Guys and Dolls.”

Performances for Guys and Dolls will run Thursdays through Sundays October 3 through November 16. The doors will open at 6 pm Thursday through Saturday evenings, at 5 pm on Sunday evenings, and at 11 am for Saturday and Sunday matinee performances.

For more information or reservations call the Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theater box office at (909) 626-1254 ext. 1 or visit us online at www.thecpdt.com. The Candlelight Pavilion is located at 455 W. Foothill Blvd. Claremont.
