OBCT Performing Arts Class Overview

• Christmas Choir/Drama:  Ten week class which will culminate with costumed carolers performing at the Mission Inn, Dos Lagos, Crown Point and other local venues.  This class will focus on telling the Christmas Story through classic Christmas Hymns, along with learning proper vocal technique.  All choir students will be cast in the OBCT productions of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.  Show dates: December 7th and 8th @ 7pm.  Instructor: Amanda Marie Gettinger
• Ballroom Dancing:  Ten week class which will culminate in a gala for all students.  Participants will learn the basics of ballroom dancing including waltz, swing, foxtrot, rumba, cha-cha, and tango.  This class is open for participants of all ages.  Instructor: Sidney Diongzon
• American Sign Language/Theatric & Choir:  This ten week course will introduce the history of ASL along with teaching theater skills and perform a signed dramatic skit capped off with a song /anthem that will be an unforgettable experience for everyone.  Working in cooperation with Cal Baptist University, this course may result in participants earning continuing education units and or a certificate in ASL.  Instructors: Dr. Daniel Blair, Angela Blair & guest instructors from California Baptist University
