Riverside Youth Theatre presents High School Musical

Due to popular pre-sales demand, Riverside Youth Theatre has added an additional performance of High School Musical on Sunday, May 20 at 6:00 PM.

Riverside Youth Theatre is proud to present High School Musical, the story of two high school students: Troy Bolton, captain of the basketball team, and Gabriella Montez, a shy transfer student who excels in math and science. Together, they try out for the lead parts in their high school musical. Despite other students’ attempts to thwart their dreams, Troy and Gabriella persist and inspire others along the way.

Performances will be held at the Wallace Theatre, on the campus of California Baptist University, 8432 Magnolia Avenue in Riverside on:

  • May 11,18,19 at 7:30 PM
  • May 12,19 at 2:00 PM
  • May 20 at 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM

Riverside Youth Theatre’s production features Brad Stephens as Troy, Heather Noriega as Gabriella, Sallie Griffin as Sharpay and Aaron Wolgemuth as Ryan. The production team includes Debbie Wolgemuth (Director), Megan Park (Assistant Director), Steve Wolgemuth (Music Director), and choreography by the team of Robert Lopez, Radames & Stacey Montes, Alison Ogilvie, Megan Park, and Debbie Wolgemuth.

Riverside Youth Theatre is in its seventh season of providing family-friendly entertainment for the growing Inland Empire. The company is distinctive in providing a quality theatrical experience, offers an elementary and teen division, no waiting lists and is affordable. Five musicals will be presented in the 2007 season including Broadway Meets the Movies, High School Musical, King of the Jungle, Seussical the Musical, and Let Heaven and Nature Swing!.
