Corona Civic Light Opera will hold open auditions for their upcoming production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella on Thursday, May 17th (7:00 PM – 10:00 PM), at the YMCA facility, 3785 S. Neece St., in Corona (on the southeast corner of Magnolia Ave. & Neece St.); and on Saturday, May 19th (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM), at the First Congregational Church, 801 S. Ramona, in Corona.  Click here for maps and directions.

Please come prepared to sing a “show tune” of your choice and bring music (without vocals) on either CD or tape.  A cold reading and a short dance audition will also be required.  Plan on being at the audition for at least one hour as the dance auditions will be conducted in groups.

Rehearsals will be held on Two weekday evenings (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM) 0r (7:00 PM – 10:00PM) depending upon cast availability and on Saturday mornings (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM).  All cast members will not be required at every rehearsal, depending upon role.

Cinderella — An orphaned girl who lives with her evil stepmother and two stepsisters sisters. She is shy with hidden beauty.
