The Sturges Family Playhouse presents The Sound of Music, with Music by Richard Rodgers, Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein, Book by Howard Kindsay and Russel Crouse, suggested by The Story of The Trapp Family Singers.

A delightful cast presents shows February 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24 at 7 pm, with Saturday Matinees Feb. 17 and 24 at 2 pm at The Sturges Center for the Fine Arts, 780 N. E Street, San Bernardino. Starring AMY CARRILLO as Maria and CLAY PRESLEY as Captain von Trapp, this seasoned cast also features DAREN PRESCOTT as Max, KIMBERLY ROBEL as Baroness Shraeder, and CHRISTINE PRESLEY as Mother Abbess. The von Trapp children are performed by JENNIFER ESTES, OSTEN RAY, ANGELA KREIT, STEVEN SPELLACY, CORRENA JANE HARRIS, MEGAN RAMIREZ, and KAYLEE DAY. The role of Rolf is shared by MICHAEL RODRIGUEZ and DANIEL REYES.  Several of the cast have film and television credits, and the entire show is a treat for young and old, families and friends.
