The Fontana Mummers will hold auditions for their upcoming Vaudeville-style Gaslight Revue on Monday and Tuesday, February 12-13, 2007, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, at the Fontana Mummers Theatre located at 8443 Nuevo Ave. in Fontana.

Actors are needed (5 men, 10 women, numerous children) to perform in several lively one-act melodramas, and olio skits.  Also seeking novelty acts like tumblers, jugglers, acrobats, gymnasts, unicyclists, prancing poodles, yodelers (o.k., maybe not yodelers, but we’ll keep an open mind), song and/or dance numbers, and comedy routines. Will also be casting a master of ceremonies and a pianist. Hecklers are also welcome!

This will be a family-oriented production, and all acts must be approved through the audition process, with co-directors (and general Mummers mucky-mucks) Jenna Lear and Beth Hauff.  Bring a cd to accompany your audition (if necessary).
