A Christmas Present from the Fontana Mummers
Opening December 8, and playing through December 17, the Fontana Mummers will present Miracle on 34th Street, adapted by Will Severin, Patricia Di Benedetto Snyder and John Vreeke from the novel by Valentine Davies.

Miracle on 34th Street tells of Kris Kringle who swears he is St. Nick, or Santa Claus. Working as a department store Santa, he gets in trouble when he does not follow store rules about pushing merchandise the store carries. He is arrested as a trouble maker and has to prove in court that he is Santa Claus.
Directed by Craig S. Higgins, the cast includes Becca Smith, as Doris Walker a little girl who believes Kris Kringle’s story, Betsy Kowal, her mother, Susan Walker; Mark Tourangeau, Kris Kringle; Lee Bane, Fred Gaily; Denis Rodill, Mr. Shellhammer, employed by Macy Department Store; and Chelsea Pope, Miss Adams, also a Macy employee.
