Performance Riverside brings you Home for the Holidays

Performance Riverside presents Home for the Holidays featuring the Cabaret All Stars Orchestra at Landis Performing Arts Center on Sunday, December 17th, 2006 at 2pm. Conducted by Riverside Community College’s Richard Stover, this holiday concert will feature a 17-piece orchestra, and seasonal favorites sung by the award-winning Cassie Miller and Don Lucas. Cassie, currently singing with the Harry James Orchestra, and Don, currently singing with the Pied Pipers, will entertain the entire family with all your favorite holiday tunes.

Richard Stover is the composer, lyricist, and occasional script writer of more than two dozen musicals. He is the owner of OnStage Musicals and has several writing and production projects in development.  Stover has performed with hundreds of stars, from Mel Torme to Sarah Vaughn, from Bob Hope to Bing Crosby. He helped establish the Riverside Civic Light Opera and was the staff conductor of that organization for over thirty years. His Cabaret All Stars Orchestra specializes in music from Broadway, film and television. Members of the orchestra play with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and some of the world’s best known big bands.

The Landis Performing Arts Center is located on the Riverside Community College City Campus at 4800 Magnolia Avenue. Home for the Holidays plays on December 17, 2006 at 2pm.
