Christian Arts and Theatre of Corona announces auditions for A Very Merry Christmas Special to be performed December 8, 9 and 10, 2006, for five performances at the Corona Civic Theater.

Auditions will be held September 15th and 16th at Crossroads Christian School, 1400 Fullerton Road in Corona.

CAT is planning a traditional Christmas variety show for this holiday season and we are seeking the following performers:

Excellent Dancers for the Hollee Hennebelle Dance Ensemble:

• Dancer auditioners must be at least 16 years old
• We are looking for dancers who can perform jazz, ballet, swing and tap
• Dance auditions will be Saturday afternoon, Sept. 16th beginning at 1:00 PM
• Dancers should come prepared to learn a choreographed piece taught by Hollee Hennebelle

Singers: For choral ensemble, soloists and small groups

• Singing auditioners must be at least 14 years old
• Vocal Auditions will be Friday night, September 15th beginning at 7:30
• Please come prepared to sing with sheet music (accompanist provided) or an accompaniment CD

Auditioners who want to be considered for both Singing and Dancing should come to both auditions (but are not required to come to both if you only want to be considered for one or the other)
 
Specialty Acts:

We are looking for excellent, unusual, and/or family-friendly acts to be included in the show.  Auditions for Specialty Acts will be Saturday, Sept. 16th beginning about 3:00.

• No  age limit – we are looking for performers of any age
• Your act does NOT have to be a Christmas theme but it can
• Suggested specialty acts could include (but not limited to): Magicians/jugglers, Irish Dancers/cloggers, Puppeteers/ventriloquists, Instrumentalists, Stand up comedy, Specialty dancing
