The Temecula Performing Arts Company is pleased to announce auditions for their Traveling Performance Groups “Broadway Bound” and “Broadway Bound, Jr.”.  Auditions are open to youth ages 7 - 18.  Auditions will be Monday evening, August 21st  by appointment. 

Broadway Bound is a traveling musical theatre based performance group.  In the past years Broadway Bound has performed for local hospitals and retirement homes, Temecula’s “Dickens of a Christmas,” The official opening ceremonies for the Temecula Children’s Museum, State of the City Ceremony, League of Cities Dinner, City of Temecula’s 4th of July Celebration, Theater Foundation Events, International Film and Music Festival media event, Kids Arts In The Park, Guidant Corporation’s Christmas Party, Promenade Mall, Knott’s Berry Farm, Carnival Cruise Lines and San Diego Del Mar Fair.  Broadway Bound also participates in the Access Broadway workshops & competition where they currently hold top honors at both the regional and national levels.

Those planning to audition for the teen group are asked to prepare two 1 – 2 minute vocal selections from Broadway Shows.  One song should be a ballad or slow song and the other an up-tempo.  Children auditioning for the Junior group are asked to sing a 2 minute song from either Broadway or Disney.  Each child must audition with a background track.  There will be no accompanist and no a’cappella auditions will be permitted.  Please bring your music on CD or cassette.  Please be prepared to dance.  You will be taught a dance combination at the audition.

Monthly Fee for Broadway Bound is $45/month.  Scholarship opportunities are available.
