Les Miserables to open at CCCT

Chino Community Children’s Theatre presents Les Miserables by Alain Boublil, Claude-Michel Schonberg, and Herbert Kretzmer, based on the novel by Victor Hugo, and directed by Jenn McHugh.
  
Performances:
Fridays and Saturdays: July 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th and August 4th and 5th at 7:00pm
Thursday the 27th at 7:00pm
Saturday and Sunday matinees: July 22nd, 23rd, 29th & 30th at 2:00pm

Jean Valjean, released on parole after 19 years on the chain gang, finds that the yellow-ticket-of-leave he must, by law, display condemns him to be an outcast. Only the saintly Bishop of Digne treats him kindly and Valjean, embittered by years of hardship, repays him by stealing some silver.

Valjean is caught and brought back by police and is astonished when the Bishop lies to the police to save him, also giving him two precious candlesticks. Valjean decides to start his life anew.

So begins the Tony Award-Winning Musical that has stirred the hearts of millions. Our teens and young adults eagerly await the opportunity to share this production with you.
