Riverside Community Players announces auditions for Funny Money
Auditions for Riverside Community Players‘ production of the British farce Funny Money by Ray Cooney will be held July 24th and 25th at 7:00 pm.

Actors Needed:
6 males: age 25 - 60
2 females: age 30 - 50
Characters:
JEAN PERKINS: Traditional, somewhat nervous woman aged 30 to 50. Spends large amount of play drunk, usually does not drink.
HENRY PERKINS: Jean’s husband. Smart, confident, but a little tired of his hum-drum life. Age 30 to 55.
BILL: Spirited, London taxi driver. Takes job seriously. Interested in people. Age 25 to 60.
DAVENPORT: Crooked detective. Enjoys using position of authority to his advantage. Sly but not threatening. Reasonable and not unlikeable. Age 25 – 50.
BETTY JOHNSON: A buxom and gregarious woman. Cheerful. Also somewhat tired of hum-drum life and ready for adventure. Age 30 to 50.
VIC JOHNSON: Betty’s husband. Fine with hum-drum life. Not used to change. Casual, simple. Age 30 to 55.
SLATER: Straight-laced detective. Kindly soul until aggrevated. Age 35 to 65.
A PASSER-BY: Imposing, threatening man. Any nationality, but speaks Dutch, little English. Age 25 to 50.
