Crosswinds Community Theater presents Bye Bye Birdie Friday, July 14th and 21st at 7:30 PM, Saturday, July 15th and 22nd at 2:30 & 7:30 PM,  and Sunday, July 16th  and July 23rd at 2:30 PM. The Theater opens one half hour before each show.

The worst possible thing has happened!  Conrad Birdie, the biggest singing sensation of the late 50′s has been drafted!  Teenie-boppers from all over the country are crying and fainting at the thought!  Before he heads off to war, his manager has cooked up the ultimate publicity stunt.  He will kiss one randomly chosen member of his fan club goodbye on the Ed Sullivan Show.  Little does Kim MacAfee from Sweet Apple, Ohio know that her life is about to change forever when she becomes the lucky girl to receive the “One Last Kiss”.  Set in the late 50′s, this is a fond and hilarious look back at an innocent age where teenagers ruled the world and parents did their best to keep them from growing up too fast.  This show is sure to help you “Put on a Happy Face”!
 
Originally produced by Edward Padula, Bye Bye Birdie has music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Lee Adams, and the book is by Michael Stewart. Our production includes a cast of almost 40, children through adults, along with a live orchestra Š all drawn from Moreno Valley and the surrounding area.  Bye Bye Birdie is truly a community event!
 
Bye Bye Birdie is suitable for the entire family.  Adult tickets are $8 for advance sales, and $10 at the door.  Children 12 and under get in for $5 and $7 respectively.  Advance tickets must be purchased one day in advance of the show.  Seating is General Admission, (first come, first seated).  Ask about our family and group rates also!
 
Performances are Friday, July 14th and 21st at 7:30 PM, Saturday, July 15th and 22nd at 2:30 & 7:30 PM, Sunday, July 16th at 7:30 PM.  Followed by our closing performance on Sunday, July 23rd at 2:30 PM.  The Theater opens one half hour before each show.
