Temecula Valley Talent Showcase auditions announced
The Temecula Valley Talent Showcase auditions will be held on Saturday, June 24 in Temecula. The deadline to register for an audition is June 16.
The actual event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 5 at the Thomas H. Langley Amphitheatre at the Community Recreation Center in Temecula.
The event is still in the planning stages, but confirmed categories are: Children (ages up to 12 years), Teens (13 to 17), Adults (18 and older), and Dance. All “legal” and “tasteful” talents will be considered (vocal, dance, instrumental and novelty … such as monologues, juggling, comedy, acting, gymnastic, mime, magic, etc.).
Cash prizes ($2,500) will be awarded to winners in each category. Judges will be entertainment industry professionals or performing artists with notable credentials. There will be two panels of judges: one panel for auditions and another panel for the Showcase. Their decisions will be final.
The Temecula Valley Talent Showcase has evolved into the most competitive in the Inland Empire and North San Diego County. All residents of North San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino counties are eligible to audition and participate in the process.
There is a $10 audition fee (nonrefundable). Payment is due at the audition. There is “NO” guarantee that any individual or group will be chosen to participate in the actual Talent Showcase. Come ready to do your very best. We are an extremely friendly group. Come to have fun.

Include your name, address, phone number, email address, age (as of Aug. 5, 2006) … and type of talent. I will respond ASAP.
All auditioners will be “REQUIRED” to submit a CD containing the music for your act. MAKE TWO CDs (one to leave with audition personnel … and one to keep for yourselves if necessary). CDs will not be returned. They must be of superior quality … because our sound technician will use them as your accompaniment.
You must also bring a current photograph and short biography (resume) spotlighting your accomplishments, hobbies. If you have a funny story to tell about yourself … please include it.
All auditioners who are younger than 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian or other adult who is authorized to sign the registration form.
