CYT is thrilled to announce its production of Annie, the classic story of a little orphan girl who never gave up hope of finding her real parents. Her energetic spirit and positive attitude kept the other orphans happy, and also kept getting Annie in trouble with the mean orphanage keeper, Mrs. Hannigan. Annie doesn’t end up finding her parents, but finds an even better alternative when she moves in with New York City tycoon, Daddy Warbucks. Annie includes such memorable numbers as Tomorrow, Maybe, It’s a Hard Knock Life, and Easy Street.
Local performers in Annie include Alexis Thomson (Annie), Lindsey Iversen (Miss Hannigan), Zachary Shirey (Ensemble), Cassandra Thorpe (Perkins), and Caprice Dehlinger (Connie Boylan) from Tememcula; Jonathan Donnelly (Oliver Warbucks), Melissa Smith (Grace Farrell), and Jeff Woods (Rooster Hannigan) from Murrieta; Erik Thrane (Lt. Ward), and Victoria Pitotti (Orphan) from Wildomar; Chelsea Doyle (July) from Sun City; Emily Goedken (Kate) from Menifee; Dan Boyd (F.D.R.) from Beaumont; Ashleigh Brown (Lily St. Regis) from Canyon Lake; and Taylor Longbrake (Molly) from Corona.
